THE FINAL FITTINGS: Behind the scenes at the Supima Design Competition

NEW YORK—It’s getting down to the wire.
Here, documented in a behind-the-scenes photo essay by Italian photojournalist Giulia Piccari, the six finalists conduct their final fittings for their eveningwear designs and T-shirt reinterpretations while Supima’s judging panel looks on.
The judges’ final decision comes on January 19, when Supima stages it runway finale at the Times Center auditorium in The New York Times Building.
