THE ART OF THE T-SHIRT: Ai Weiwei for Des Artistes

MUNICH—Eco-conscious label Des Artistes has announced a limited edition T-shirt that will be sold as a fund-raising effort for Doctors Without Borders.
And it’s made of pure, organic Supima cotton.
The designs will feature artwork from Ai Weiwei, a conceptual artist, architect and political activist, noted for his work on the Bird’s Nest Olympic Stadium in Beijing.
More recently, Ai was the subject of an extensive profile in the New Yorker magazine.
