SUPIMA ON THE RED CARPET: At the YMA Awards

NEW YORK—The industry was out in full force last night for YMA Scholarship Awards’ annual black-tie fundraiser.

And that meant that Supima was there too.

This year’s honorees included supermodel and cosmetics entrepreneur Iman (a.k.a. Mrs. David Bowie) and young designer Zac Posen.The evening was hosted by Liz Claiborne executive Tim Gunn (who, we hear, happens to run his own equivalent of a Competition for Emerging Designers), and students from Parsons, Philadelphia University, Cornell, and Iowa State won the four Geoffrey Beene scholarships, worth $25,000 apiece.
