NEW YORK—Sure, the finals of the Supima Design Competition are still generating plenty of press.

But so is the Supima Collection that launched at Bloomingdale’s last month.

Here, for example, is what Antenna magazine had to say about the Supima Collection:

Clothes are a lot like ice cream.

You can only wear a crazy graphic splattered hoodie once a year without someone recognizing it and bringing up the last time you wore it. It’s like lemon blueberry frozen yogurt, you simply don’t want it all the time.

Tee shirts on the other hand, are like vanilla. You know it’s always delicious and can go with just about any topping. Meet Supima, the vanilla ice cream of clothing. Supima Cotton prides itself on bring the world the finest cotton tee. They’re made from extra long, extra-fine cotton fiber grown in California and the American Southwest. They’re tag free and come in both crew and v necks that retail for $48 as well as henlies and hoodies that retail for $92.

You can find your perfect vanilla staple exclusively at Bloomingdale’s. -SK

Well, since vanilla is still the best-selling flavor in the country and basic ingredient of most sundaes and parfaits . . . that doesn’t sound too bad.

Meanwhile, all the best bloggers are starting to notice too.

Case in point: The Supima Collection of T-shirts and unisex tops, which launched at Bloomingdale’s last month, has been getting written up in places like ,Terence Sambo’s fashion blog.
