SUCCESS WITH SUPIMA: Nadia Ivanova

NEW YORK—Since the third Supima Design Competition wrapped up earlier this year, finalist Nadia Ivanova has developed an international career.
Among her other activities, Nadia, who designs under the Alternative School Network.
Meanwhile, the T-shirt inspired by solar energy panels, her entry in Supima’s contest to redesign everyone’s favorite menswear basic, is being used in the web series “In Between Men,” currently filming in New York. (Among the other labels being used in the series: Marc Jacobs, Fila, and John Bartlett.)
And, in a more commercial vein, she’s been gaining retail exposure at the likes of Ava Black in Chicago, as evidenced above.
