SUCCESS WITH SUPIMA: Gina DeSilva on sale

NEW YORK—If your dresses are going on sale, then it helps if The New York Times is making the announcement.
This morning, in the new Scouting Report column, NYT’s Mary Billiard noted the latest fashionable comings and goings around town, including a sale on Gina DeSilva dresses (pictured left and right) at Plum.
Gina, as you’ll recall, was the big winner in the recent Supima Competition for Emerging Designers (which happened to be held at the NYT headquarters building).
And, Plum, as you’ll recall, is the Ludlow Street boutique for the best of the up and coming.
