REPORT FROM PV: First textile awards

VILLEPINTE, France—The edition of Première Vision that concluded earlier this month made news with its first edition of the PV Awards.
These prizes, intended to reward the most outstanding fabrics created by exhibitors, were revealed to the public in the General Forum on September 18, by Jury President Veronique Nichanian of Hermès Paris, as seen in the start of the slideshow above.
The winners were:
The Grand Jury Prize was awarded to a creation by the Italian weaver Ratti.
The Handle Prize was given to Japanese weaver Showa.
The Innovation Prize was given to a textile from Japanese exhibitor Iwanaka.
The Imagination Prize was awarded to a creation by Swiss exhibitor Jakob Schlaepfer.
