COME SEE SUPIMA: DIFFA’s Dining by Design

NEW YORK—Just a reminder that tomorrow night DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids) opens its “Dining by Design” Event at Pier 94 (that’s 12th Avenue and West 55 Street) here in New York.
And Supima will be there.
Now entering its 12th year, “Dining by Design” has become a rite of spring in the New York social season, a “must-attend” for the city’s celebrities and its creative cognoscenti. (For tickets, which begin at $10, go to DIFFA.org.)
Designed by New York-based SHoP Architects, Supima’s installation is an unusual, organic structure that should be quite unlike anything else at “Dining by Design.”
The inspiration?
A cotton boll, of course.
