2006 Supima Ad Campaign
Supima launched a new print media advertising campaign “Supima®: Inspire Your Senses” to emphasize American Pima’s softness and comfort.
It is now possible for anyone, man woman or child, to dress head to toe in Supima no matter what the occasion, work play or leisure. With all these new products, Supima found that it needed to broaden its marketing campaign.
The reality is that Supima is in so many products now that it would have to shoot more than a dozen ads to even begin to cover them all. To effectively promote such a wide array of products, Supima decided to refocus the attention of our campaign back to cotton. After all that is what Supima is.
The four ad images are soft, white and light to reflect Supima's luxurious character. These ads are also broad enough that they can be run interchangeably for both home fashion and apparel. The tag line for the campaign is simple: inspire your senses. This message speaks directly to the comfort, beauty and softness of Supima.
Though just recently launched, Supima has already received great feedback from our brands and retailers, as well as the press on the images. There are a number of licensees who are displaying posters of the ads in their showrooms.
The ads in the series are scheduled to run in consumer publications including Elle Décor and The New York Times Sunday Magazine, reaching a combined circulation of more than 2.8 million. Supima will also run the ads in influential trade publications including Home Textiles Today, Women’s Wear Daily, Daily News Record and Inside Fashion.
